I think of the pictorial process as metabolism in constant transformation, one that I develop through paintings and mixed media assemblages. My body of work challenges the everyday to generate new narratives of perception. This contextualizes the pretext to seek the visible in unfolded perspectives and to interrogate the virtuality of the familiar spaces.
I extract fragments from my life, endowing them with expansive and emotional qualities, creating “residual landscapes”. In this sense, my practice reveals ecosystems of matter, form, and texture, that highlight the desire to see between a sense of wholeness and fragmented nature.
